The Sloan MCR-8012-A (formerly MCR-8002) is an eight input/output (8 I/O) controller that is used with Sloan PWT push buttons and solenoids used to control water closets, lavatories, and shower systems. The MCR-8012-A controller can be pre-programmed for specific activations and run-times along with lockouts for a predetermined length of time for improper usage as well as for water conservation purposes. Sloan PWT communicating controllers can be connected to PWT Management Consoles utilizing a FT-10 (twisted pair) network so that the entire network of connected controllers and fixtures can be monitored and programs or settings can be changed. The MCR-8012-A controller has a hinged door and enclosure that is IP-53 rated, the eight input/output ports are 4-pin RJ-11 connections. The Sloan PWT Systems allow a facility to take control of their plumbing systems to minimize mis-use as well as manage water usage. Pre-programed to allow for 2 activations within 5 minutes with no delays. If a third activation attempt is made within the five minute timeframe, the flushometer will lock-out or prevent any further activations for a period of 60 minutes (1 hour).
