The Optima EBV200A Side Mount Operator Over The Handle Sensor Retrofit is designed to convert existing Sloan manual flushometers to hands-free sensor activation, reducing surface contact in commercial restrooms and enhancing hygiene. The EBV200A is battery powered with a True Mechanical Override (TMO) button that can be used to manually initiate a flush if required even without battery power. The EBV200A is installed by simply sliding the unit over the manual handle on your current flushometer and tightening the collar around valve body, no need to shut-off the water or remove any parts. The EBV200A features indicator lights, including a "user in view" light and a "low battery" light to visibly display when maintenance is required. The EBV200A offers an optional 72-hour sentinel flush mode that allows the flushometer to automatically initiate a flush cycle at regular intervals, ensuring proper system hygiene and preventing water stagnation. The EBV200A can be used with both diaphragm and piston flushometers including the following product offerings: Royal, Regal, Sloan, and Crown.
