The Optima EL600A Side Mount Over The Handle Sensor Retrofit is designed to convert existing Sloan manual flushometers to hands-free sensor activation, reducing surface contact in commercial restrooms and enhancing hygiene. The EL600A is hardwired with a True Mechanical Override (TMO) button that can be used to manually initiate a flush. The EL600A is installed by simply sliding the unit over the manual handle on your current flushometer and tightening the collar around valve body, no need to shut-off the water or remove any parts. The EL600A features a flashing indicator light that demonstrates when a user is in view of the sensor. The EL600A offers an optional 72-hour sentinel flush mode that allows the flushometer to automatically initiate a flush cycle at regular intervals, ensuring proper system hygiene and preventing water stagnation. The EL600A can be used with diaphragm flushometers and is ADA compliant.
