This course provides an overview of national water use and trends, with a focus on high-efficiency water saving products for sustainable restroom design, and green building program initiatives.

Learning objectives

1. Articulate facts about water and water use in the U.S.
2. Understand the movement toward “Green Building” and programs that outline ways to conserve water.
3. Identify specific sustainable design restroom applications – including performance testing information.
4. Understand differences between LEED 2009 and LEED v4.
5. Explain what to look for when choosing water saving products.
